Ola Electric has initiated the delivery process for its flagship electric scooter, the S1 Pro Generation 2, which was introduced as the successor to the Gen 1 model. The second generation of the S1 Pro exhibits significant enhancements in various aspects, including hardware, design, mechanics, and more.
In terms of design, the S1 Pro Generation 2 departs from its predecessor with a flat floorboard, eliminating the central spine seen in the older model. This modification results in increased front space, and the two-piece rear grab-rail has been replaced with a single-piece tubular unit. The curvaceous panels and overall design elements from the Gen 1 model have carried over to the Gen 2 scooter.

Ola has also implemented a significant upgrade in the latest S1 Pro iteration by replacing the front monoshock with conventional telescopic front forks. The swingarm has been substituted with a new one, and the chassis now incorporates sheet metal.
Regarding the powertrain, the new model features an 11kW peak power motor paired with a 4kWh battery, a notable improvement over the Gen 1’s 8.5kW motor and 4kWh battery. This results in an impressive 180km of range and a top speed of 120kmph. In terms of acceleration, the Gen 2 scooter goes from 0 to 40kmph in 2.6 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds quicker than the Gen 1 model.
The Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 is competitively priced at Rs. 1,47,499 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) and is available in five attractive paint schemes: Jet Black, Matt White, Stellar, Midnight Blue, and Amethyst.
